Akshay Kumar would be starring in 'Ikka,' a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie, 'Kaththi'. The film which was expected to go on floors in August has now been delayed.
The Hindi version was to be directed by Jagan, who was once an assistant to AR Murugadoss who made the original film. The film is delayed because Akshay Kumar is apparently not so happy with the script and has asked for some changes.
According to reports, the film has a lovely plot, but the film has the flavour of a South remake. Akshay Kumar apparently wants the story to be based in Maharashtra and its water racket. The producers and writers will start working on the story once Sonakshi Sinha's 'Akira' releases.
